Obstacles

An obstacle course is the piece that turns a party into an event. Two racers enter at the same time and work through pop-ups, squeeze walls and crawl-throughs before hitting the climb and the slide at the end — and everybody watching becomes the crowd. Our sports-themed course is built for exactly this: long, bright, and designed so a spectator standing at the finish can see the whole race. Schools, churches, sports teams and company picnics book these for field days and tournaments, and they are just as popular at a backyard birthday for older kids who have outgrown a plain bouncer. We are licensed, insured, and an approved vendor at all local parks — the reason schools and sports leagues can book a course with us for a field day without a permitting detour. Luna's Jumps has been working with local organizers since 1997. Tell us which venue you are using and we will get our certificate of insurance to them directly. We deliver, set up, anchor and take down the course, and it arrives cleaned and inspected. Because a course has a climb-and-slide section and racers moving fast, we spend a little longer on the safety walkthrough — where your supervising adults should stand, how to stagger the starts, and how to keep the finish clear. If you are running heats or a bracket for a field day, tell us your schedule and we will get set up with enough lead time to run it properly. Obstacle courses are the longest units we rent, so the constraint is almost always length rather than width. Measure the run you have available and send us the number before you book — it takes one text and it saves a delivery that will not fit. You need a flat surface end to end, overhead clearance at the climb, and power within reach. On grass we anchor with stakes; on concrete or asphalt we use weights, so tell us the surface when you reserve.
