When Santa Barbara County heats up, a water attraction is the rental that saves the party. Our wave slide sends kids down a wide wet lane into a splash pool at the bottom, with the curved wave walls and bright blue-and-white styling that make it the centerpiece of the yard as much as the main activity. Water attractions are the top request for summer birthdays, end-of-school parties and family reunions, and they are the fastest units on this page to book out. If you have a July or August date in mind, call us early — weekends go first. Luna's Jumps is licensed and insured, and we are an approved vendor at all local parks. Water units get the closest look from venue coordinators because of the run-off and the anchoring, so having a vendor already on the approved list saves you the back and forth. We have been renting in Santa Barbara County since 1997 and can send our documentation ahead of your date. Delivery, setup, anchoring and takedown are included, same as every rental. You supply the water: we connect to a standard garden hose at your location, so make sure there is a working spigot the hose can reach from the setup area. We clean and inspect every water unit between rentals. Towels, sunscreen and a change of clothes are on you — but tell your guests to bring them, because everyone ends up wet, including the adults who said they would not. Water attractions need a flat area with drainage you are comfortable with, because the splash pool overflows and the surrounding ground gets soaked — most people put them on grass for exactly that reason. Keep the run-off away from patios and walkways where it creates a slip hazard. You will need a hose connection and a power outlet within reach of the setup area.
